{"id":28021,"date":"2025-02-12T08:09:02","date_gmt":"2025-02-12T13:09:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iupac.org\/?p=28021"},"modified":"2025-05-05T01:33:49","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T05:33:49","slug":"the-2025-awards-in-analytical-chemistry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iupac.org\/the-2025-awards-in-analytical-chemistry\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2025 Awards in Analytical Chemistry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each biennium the <a href=\"\/body\/500\">Analytical Chemistry Division<\/a> presents two awards for outstanding contributions to the field of analytical chemistry.\u00a0 The <strong>IUPAC Analytical Chemistry Medal<\/strong> recognizes lifetime achievement in any field of analytical chemistry evidenced by sustained and outstanding research contributions, by active involvement in international partnerships and by commitment to the training of the next generation of analytical chemists.\u00a0 The <strong>IUPAC Emerging Innovator Award<\/strong> in Analytical Chemistry recognizes outstanding research achievements by an early career stage scientist in the field of analytical chemistry.\u00a0 Both awards will be presented during the <a href=\"https:\/\/iupac.org\/event\/53rd-iupac-general-assembly\/\">IUPAC General Assembly<\/a> in July 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aston.chem.purdue.edu\/r-graham-cooks.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28023\" src=\"https:\/\/iupac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Graham_Cooks_2-228x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iupac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Graham_Cooks_2-228x300.jpg 228w, https:\/\/iupac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Graham_Cooks_2.jpg 257w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Graham Cooks<\/strong>, Henry B.
