The award selection committee was chaired by Professor Javier Garc\u00eda Mart\u00ednez, IUPAC Past President. The awards will be formally presented at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 IUPAC Congress, where winners of both the 2024 and 2025 competitions will be honored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Honorable Mentions<\/h3>\n<p>In recognition of the high-quality submissions, the selection committee also awarded Honorable Mentions to four outstanding candidates:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Dr. Kangjie Bian<\/strong> (China) \u2013 Rice University, USA<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Dr. Yahao Dai<\/strong> (China) \u2013 University of Chicago, USA<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Dr. Mark Robertson<\/strong> (USA) \u2013 University of Southern Mississippi, USA<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Dr. Yunyan Sun<\/strong> (China) \u2013 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2026 Award Applications<\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The call for applications for the 2026 IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists will be announced soon.
